Remote Notary Services

 At Tall City Professional Services, we understand that time and convenience matter — especially when important documents need to be notarized. That’s why we offer on-demand general notary services designed around your schedule.

Whether you're at home, at work, in the hospital, or even at your favorite coffee shop — we come to you. Our goal is to make the process simple, stress-free, and accessible when you need it most.

Because your time is valuable — and your peace of mind is priceless.

Notaries Cannot:

 

As a Notary Public, We Cannot:

  • ❌ Provide legal advice or interpret documents
     
  • ❌ Notarize documents without the signer present
     
  • ❌ Notarize documents if the signer does not have proper identification
     
  • ❌ Notarize documents that appear incomplete or contain blank spaces
     
  • ❌ Notarize our own signature or act in a transaction where we have a personal interest
     
  • ❌ Backdate or postdate a notarization
     
  • ❌ Certify copies of vital records (like birth or death certificates) — only the issuing agency can do that

Mobile General notary & after-hours fees

In addition to notary fees, travel, time, and afterhours charges, are as follows:

Travel Fee for Remote Services

$25

Fee for After-Hours 5 pm - 11:59 pm

$40

Fee for After-Hours 12 am - 8:00 am

$60

Per mile charge - no charge for first 10 miles

$1.10

All Fees due at time of signing.. 10 Mile mark begins at Midland Dr and Wadley in Midland, TX

Taking the acknowledgement or proof of any deed or other instrument in writing, including certificate and seal for ONE document

Notary Publics are commissioned by the Secretary of State

✅ Texas Notaries Can Notarize:

 As long as all legal requirements are met (proper ID, signer is willing and present, etc.), Texas notaries may notarize:

🔹 Common Notarial Acts

  • Acknowledgments (e.g., deeds, title transfers, authorizations)
  • Jurats (e.g., affidavits, sworn statements)
  • Oaths and affirmations
  • Certified copies of non-recordable documents
  • Depositions

🔹 Common Documents (if properly completed)

  • Power of Attorney
  • Wills (only self-proving affidavits attached to wills; not      the will itself unless directed by an attorney)
  • Contracts and agreements
  • Parental consent forms
  • Bill of Sale
  • Real estate documents (loan packages, deeds, etc.)
  • Adoption or school authorization forms
  • Immigration forms (except where restricted — such as I-9s cannot be notarized)

 


🚫 TEXAS NOTARIES CANNOT NOTARIZE:

Texas Notaries Cannot Notarize:

🔸 Documents or Situations That Are Prohibited

  • Blank documents (documents must be fully completed before notarizing) 
  • Vital records (e.g., birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses)
    ➤ These must be obtained from the issuing authority — notaries cannot certify or notarize copies 
  • Photos or identification documents (notaries cannot notarize a photograph or create a certified copy of a driver's license, passport, or similar ID) 
  • Documents where the signer isn’t present 
  • Signer who cannot communicate or appear aware/willing (i.e., under duress or not coherent) 
  • I-9 Forms 
  • Foreign language documents 
  • Immigration legal advice (only an attorney or those accredited by the DOJ)
